Hi Elena,
Which software do you use for post processing?
Elena Tregnaghi Answer by Elena Tregnaghi
Hi Abir,
Thank you very much for your question! 😊
I currently use Adobe Photoshop Elements 2020 and Lightroom to edit my pictures. Normally they don't require a lot of post-processing, so I find both of these programs very quick to use. To make everything even faster, I also use actions and presets - mainly those created by my friend and former employer Jessica Drossin.
Have a great week ahead! 😃

Which camera body and lens you enjoy the most for your photography? Thank you ^_^
Elena Tregnaghi Answer by Elena Tregnaghi
Hi Kerem,
Thank you very much for stopping by!
I used to shoot with a 2009 Canon EOS 7D, and after switching to a Canon EOS 90D, I can absolutely say it makes everything easier. As much as it's not a pro camera, it does the job well! 😉 As for the lens, it's probably the Canon EF-S 35mm f/2.8 Macro IS STM, mainly for its lightness and versatility. But I still hold dear my very first lens, the Canon EF-S 60mm f/2.8 Macro USM. It's been with me for 13 years... that's my longest relationship so far 😅
Have a great day! 😃

Hi, Elena! Your photography and website are beautiful! What do you find most fascinating about water droplets?
Elena Tregnaghi Answer by Elena Tregnaghi
Hi Jenie!
Thank you very much for your appreciation and for your question.
Water droplets are indeed one of the subjects I find most fascinating: they can assume different shapes (this is especially true for frozen drops, which are my favorite ones), they reflect the surrounding world in an unconventional manner (usually upside down) and they have something magical about them, as they make the invisible... visible (just think of how they embellish spider's webs)!
These are just a few of the reasons that make me love them: they are unpredictable subjects, there's always something new to discover about (or in) them! 😊

What is your favourite word, in any language?
Elena Tregnaghi Answer by Elena Tregnaghi
Hi Isabelle!
Wow, this is such a great question.
For many years it's been an Italian word, dolcisonante, which is an archaic adjective that describes the sweet sound of a musical instrument being played (dolce=sweet).
I still like it a lot for the way it sounds when pronounced, but if I had to choose solely for the meaning, I would probably pick selenophilia, a word that perfectly describes my love for the moon!

Ciao Elena! Grazie, ciao! 😊
Elena Tregnaghi Answer by Elena Tregnaghi
Ciao Giulio!

What's your favourite perfume?
Elena Tregnaghi Answer by Elena Tregnaghi
Hi Alice!
I absolutely adore the scent of pink pepper, so my favorite perfume is 212 Sexy by Carolina Herrera. I have been using it for a few years now and I haven't got tired of it... I think it suits me well 😊
