This is a picture I took almost 7 years ago, on December 6, 2009. While looking at it and comparing the different feelings Christmas gives rise to now, I thought about this “challenge”… who wants to join me?
Basically, it’s all about finding an image you took at least 6-7 years ago, of an object or landscape that hasn’t changed, and take it again. Only the place or object should be the same, not the technique or perspective.
I wonder if the years that have passed will show, and I don’t mean photographically speaking alone. So for the next post I’m gonna take a picture of my mom’s necklace and see what it has to say about me, the person I have become, etc. Is this a totally crazy idea?

That is such a great idea. I’m sure not only time changes perspective but also our emotions and how we are feeling from one year to another. I will search out a picture from back then and it will be interesting to look at it with different eyes!
I love this idea! I will try to find an image and recreate it! So many things change in only a couple of years, I’m sure it shows in our work as well xox
What a great idea! I think places change but also we change – our perspective, our emotions and our overall take on things so I think this would be a very interesting experiment and will definitely give it a try
